PRP - Facial Injections
- Schedule PRP at least 2 weeks before events; swelling/bruising may occur.
- Stop blood thinners/supplements (aspirin, NSAIDs, ginkgo, garlic, etc.) 3–7 days before and after; check with your doctor first.
- No treatment with active rash or infection in the area.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, OB-GYN clearance is required.
PRP - Hair Restoration
- Schedule PRP at least 2 weeks before events; swelling, redness, or bruising may occur.
- Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores; antivirals may be prescribed.
- No treatment with an active rash in the area.
- OB-GYN clearance required if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Topical numbing cream is applied for comfort.
- A small blood sample is drawn and spun to isolate PRP.
- PRP is then microneedled, stamped, or injected to boost collagen, elastin, and hair growth.
